Inova-Ria – Association of Companies for an Innovation Network in Aveiro, founded in 2003, is a non-profit organization whose mission is the creation and consolidation of a cluster in the fields of Information, Communication and Electronics Technologies, with a particular focus on telecommunications, centred in the Aveiro Region.
Inova-Ria brings together and empowers its members and the surrounding community by creating synergies that foster technological development, knowledge generation, and economic growth.
It is an entity that connects companies, higher education institutions, and research and development organisations, regardless of their size or level of maturity. From the diversity of this aggregation of operational contexts emerge innovation opportunities associated with digital transformation and disruptive collaboration and competitiveness strategies.
The member network represents both the driving force and the ultimate goal of Inova-Ria’s mission. Through collaborative dynamics, new objectives and perspectives related to the Information, Communication and Electronics Technologies (ICTE) sector are continuously shaped, within a cycle that Inova-Ria maintains as continuous, prosperous, and dynamic.

Strengthen technology and innovation as the fundamental and competitive pillars of the economy, capable of generating collaborative dynamics that foster technological development, investment, qualified employment, and the attractiveness of the region and the country.
Mission
Contribute to the recognition of the region as the country’s technological epicentre, empowering its members and the surrounding community through the creation of synergies that promote technological development, knowledge generation, and economic growth.
Overall, Inova-Ria represents a combined turnover of approximately €450 million and more than 4,000 highly qualified professionals integrated into the labour market.
Among its approximately 80 member companies, the main activity subsectors are Information Technologies (61%), Electronics (11%), and Consultancy (11%).
