A prestigious engineering and industrial consultancy company, internationally recognized as a leader in its sector and with a strong presence in global markets, is expanding its engineering team. We are seeking a highly qualified Senior professional to take on supervision, coordination, and technical execution responsibilities in the field of Instrumentation & Control (I&C) for projects within the energy sector.
Key Responsibilities
- Technical Supervision: Supervise instrumentation installation, cabling, calibration, loop checks, and functional testing activities on-site.
- Team Coordination: Coordinate daily activities with contractors, construction teams, and control systems specialists (DCS/PLC).
- Quality Control: Verify and ensure that all I&C works comply with technical drawings, project specifications, and required quality standards.
- Safety Management: Manage work permits and ensure strict compliance with all on-site safety procedures and regulations.
- Commissioning Support: Provide specialized technical support during pre-commissioning and commissioning activities, including system handover.
- Non-Conformance Resolution: Identify, analyze, and resolve on-site technical issues, deviations, and punch list items.
- Progress Reporting: Prepare regular progress reports and maintain effective communication with project management and engineering teams.
Mandatory Requirements (Technical Profile)
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Electrical Engineering or a closely related technical discipline.
- Professional Experience: Senior-level professional with at least 2–3 years of solid experience performing this role.
- Industry Experience: Minimum of 3 years’ proven experience supervising Instrumentation & Control activities in refineries, petrochemical plants, or other heavy industrial facilities.
- Hands-on Field Experience: Strong practical experience in I&C installation, cabling, calibration, and loop checks, with a thorough understanding of field execution practices.
- Control Systems Coordination: Proven ability to coordinate contractors and work effectively with commissioning and control systems (DCS/PLC) teams.
- Safety & Compliance: Strong commitment to safety, quality, and permit-to-work compliance, combined with a practical, solution-oriented approach to on-site problem-solving.
- Languages: Native or near-native proficiency in Portuguese (minimum C2 level) and advanced English proficiency (minimum C1 level).
