Wisify is an innovative startup dedicated to changing how health and sports technology work. Our main product, Lipowise, is patented in the US (US9198602B2) and Europe (EP2589336B1) and has gained attention. However, we have a broader mission. We want to give professionals in various fields access to advanced tools for assessing the body and predicting health risks.

Lipowise is a revolutionary digital tool that redefines how we analyse body composition. It's fast, accurate, and integrates with other systems, but this is just the beginning. We are working on a range of new products to help professionals assess their clients' physical conditions comprehensively, from measuring lengths to diameters and heights. Our commitment to innovation, rooted in our foundation at the University of Porto, drives us to transform how health assessment works.

We aim to provide professionals with a comprehensive toolkit that goes beyond the usual methods, enabling them to make better decisions for their clients and predict risk factors and injuries. At Wisify, we are not just changing one product; we are changing how health assessment and prescription is done.

The Lipowise PRO skinfold calliper communicates via Bluetooth with Android/iOS mobile applications. the kit includes a skinfold calliper, 2 m measuring tape, pencil for skin markings, USB cable for charging, and iOS/Android apps.

Wisify - Lipowise mobile APP

The Lipowise mobile application works to perform the collection of the consultation data, namely from the connectable devices.
It exists for Android iOS and has as main characteristics:

  • Management of patient/client identification data

  • Filling out the Anamnesis

  • Customized definition of the evaluation flow

  • Various measurement steps (anthropometry, surveys, skinfold measurement, etc.)

  • Management of connectable devices

  • Data stored locally and remotely (only if authorized)

  • Possibility of data export

Wisify - Lipowise Web APP

The Web APP is an application that does not require installation because it is accessed through the browser. It has several functionalities, such as:

  • Data integration in the cloud 

  • Permanent data backup

  • Technical support with specialized nutritionists

  • Constant update of the service

  • Protection of client confidentiality and data in accordance with the GDPR 

  • Possibility of integration via HL7 FIHR with other healthcare systems 

  • Automatic generation of reports 

  • Easy use of data for research work 

  • Alert mechanisms about the patient's clinical status 

  • Sharing reports with the user

  • Time clinical evolution by user
