ESA BIC Tagus, the European Space Agency’s (ESA) Business Incubation Centre in Portugal, has launched a new call for applications to support three startups developing innovative solutions for the space economy.

The programme is looking for high-potential companies working on SpaceTech solutions, including space technologies, infrastructure and satellite data-based applications. Selected startups will benefit from an incubation programme offering funding, technical support, expert mentoring and access to ESA’s international innovation network.

Applications are open until 5 October 2026, providing an excellent opportunity for entrepreneurs and technology companies to accelerate the development of their solutions and strengthen their position within the European space ecosystem.

The rapid growth of the space economy is also creating new opportunities for sectors such as microelectronics, semiconductors, artificial intelligence, communications and embedded systems, all of which play a key role in enabling next-generation space technologies.
