Inova-Ria participated in the WorkLabs Final Event at the Escola Profissional de Aveiro (EPA), reinforcing its commitment to developing digital skills and preparing young people for the challenges of the future.
As a partner of the WorkLab programme, Inova-Ria has worked with students throughout the academic year by delivering sessions focused on Digital Skills, exploring topics related to Artificial Intelligence, its evolution, and its impact on education and the workplace.
At the programme’s closing event, Inova-Ria delivered a session on “Fake News and Disinformation”, encouraging students to reflect on the importance of critical thinking, source verification, and the responsible use of information in an increasingly digital world shaped by Artificial Intelligence.
The session aimed to raise awareness of the risks associated with misinformation while equipping students with practical tools to identify reliable information, evaluate digital content critically, and become responsible digital citizens and future professionals.
The WorkLabs Final Event brought together approximately 694 students and several partner organisations, providing a wide range of activities designed to strengthen both technical and soft skills developed throughout the academic year, while fostering closer connections between students and industry.
Through initiatives such as this, Inova-Ria continues to strengthen the link between education and industry, promoting the development of the digital and transversal skills that are essential for tomorrow’s workforce.
