
In the context of the annual Biomedical Engineering event (XVIII ENEEB) that is taking place at the University of Aveiro between February 23 and 26, Inova-Ria promoted through the Genius Program the visit of a group of 23 students to Altice Labs, an Associated company. This initiative fits one of the event's purposes, which aims to provide the students a first contact with the business environment through the visit to several companies.
The students had the opportunity to visit some of the Associate's laboratories, namely: the Prototype Development Laboratory, the Certification and Compliance Test Laboratory and SmartAL- Demo of the telemonitoring system developed by Altice Labs which offers a set of technologies, devices and support services that allow for remote monitoring in real time of chronically ill, elderly and convalescing people, home hospitalization, post-hospitalization, among others.
The goal is to provide learning situations that favor the acquisition of knowledge, providing the development of work techniques.
